She had stalked me for several nights.
By the time I had some idea of what was really happening, I was already terrified, but it turned even worse.
When I realized what she was, I couldn't believe it.
I tried to get away but it was no use; the night that changed everything came soon after my revelation.
I was trapped. She told me I was the most beautiful woman she had seen in many decades.
I was oddly flattered.
She told me she would be gentle—that my entering the world of the undead would be a
"beautiful experience."
And it was.
We stayed together for the better part of a millennium, but I had to break up with her.
We had fallen out of Love; she was taking me for granted. It was sad, but it was time to move on.
