I cried till I passed out.
I awoke a long time later. The rush of realization seized me—froze me.
Yet, I immediately felt this throb of determination. It was humming in the center of my head.
The memory of a woman who had come up to me shortly before The Leaving,
flashed like a hologram right before my eyes.
"Make it, somehow," she had said, "for us—for all of us."
