Her voice was a soaring, searing instrument of Heaven;
her songs were testaments resonating directly from the center of the Human Soul;
her performances were legend.
Ever since she was a child in the orphanage,
she realized that she had the power to do something special.
She knew that she should.
One night, during the pinnacle of her accomplishments and fame,
alone and buzzed in a secluded bungalow somewhere warm and sweet--
Catalina looked up to the dark sky.
Something opened inside of her and she found herself gazing upon the vista of the entire Universe.
She heard her own voice telling her that it was time to leave,
to gather her thoughts and feelings and emotions and her Love and move on, body and all--
to where she wanted to be.
She knew that she could.
Catalina's disappearance became a worldwide mystery
filled with intrigue, desperate investigation, endless hypothesizing, rumors, stories,
grief and bewilderment.
But to her handful of faithful friends, who on the morning after that fateful night
had awoken startled to find a beautiful Passion Flower bloom on their pillow,
there was a certain closure.
Although still puzzled and worried, there was a quiet knowing that their dear friend had said goodbye—that Catalina had let them know that everything was alright and that she Loved them.
They knew that she would.
