She would appear to us in the fiery depths
and in her silence, speak volumes about the flames -
and about freedom from the flames.
In her cool light we could see the unfolding of the energy
that we yearned to find - the power, the peace.
And after a long, long time of observing her,
we found ourselves emulating her stance and aura -
her way of Being.
A pale impersonation perhaps but we continue to practice.
We practice projecting the absolute beam of heaven
here in the pit of hell.
And we live from day to day,
