I have been revered.

Thank you for seeing passion.

But am I really more on fire

than that fabulous blonde or luxurious brunette?

Perhaps,

perhaps not.


I have been reviled.

And although I am more vulnerable in certain ways,

I can tolerate the pain

and I'm hard to put under.

Do your insipid comments match your minuscule IQ?


But I can take a gentle joke, and when all is said and done,

I am like you, only framed in a primary color.

And I'll be around
