I heard the phrase, "...ride the wind, like the Dragon!" once on some old tv show.
I thought the idea was beautiful and mysterious.
The reality of our mortality—with its sharp, bittersweet edge
that cuts us all in half like a machete in the hands of a titan--
has been described so eloquently by many.
We are all aware of it to some degree or another,
yet its poignancy grows as we proceed down the path.
We each proceed down some path
to a fond farewell.
