Cuddles and I are making plans to spend the Holidays with family.
Frankly, I know we make them a little nervous, but they're always welcoming;
they stock a lot of pecan pie for me and beetles for my little guy.
I try not to go on too much about being a vegetarian
and Cuddles always puts on his best table manners.
Somebody told me once that friends come and go but family is always there.
I'm sure there's a lot of truth to that, but for me--
the family I'm talking about aren't relatives.
Relatives fell by the wayside some time ago.
My family are my friends—through thick and thin since we were kids.
They love me the way I am and I love them more than I can say.
And through each metamorphosis of our lives--
we grow more and more fluorescent.
