Britjet awoke and genty pulled back the shimmering drape that revealed the cylindrical, multidimensional landscape that was the window in her room.
She had dwelled within this vortex of cause and effect for what would be an eon of linear time, contemplating her nature and unknown origin. From her vantage point of ceaseless beginnings and endings, she asked the question of her own ending. Would she have one? Would it be oblivion?
Or would she carry on as something else? Somewhere else?
She found it fascinating that she had these questions in common with all the countless beings in all the countless realities that she looked upon during her day.
Who am I? Where did I come from? Where am I going?
Britjet had come to some working conclusions:
When she stared into The Point Of Now and the electromagnetic chasm would open, it seemed clear that it was a singularity. Everything emanated from a single unidentifiable spot of nothing.
All was One.
Following this theme of energy from nowhere, she had semi-concluded that she herself was some fundamental, electrical packet - a spirit.
"I am the Spirit that is Britjet," she would think.
And in so doing, she was Britjet - but also something more.
When she would stick her head out of her window at times, protruding into some realm
in some point in time - she would become partially visible to the inhabitants there;
who at turns took her as a god, a devil, an alien, a ghost.
She always purposely projected the form of the chasm to them -
the swirling ellipticals that some would call the Atomic Symbol.
Something from nothing.
A message.
By day the immortal Britjet watched an infinity of worlds through the magical pane.
By night she pondered her fate and dreamed.
Then one morning she awoke
and there by her window
appeared a door.
